The SoCal Referee Academy exists to recruit, train, mentor, and develop the next generation of soccer referees throughout Southern California. We provide aspiring referees with the education, support, and real-world experience needed to confidently officiate matches, earn income, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact on the game.

Who We Are
The SoCal Referee Academy is more than a training program. We are a community of referees dedicated to helping new officials succeed from their very first match through every stage of their officiating journey.
Whether you’re a current player, former player, parent, or lifelong soccer fan, we provide the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to help you grow as a referee. Through education, hands-on training, and ongoing support, we help our members develop confidence, leadership, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of the game.
Our academy is committed to creating pathways for young people to stay involved in soccer while earning money, building their resumes, and developing skills that last far beyond the field.
